BFG and Superiority Empty BFG and Superiority

Weapon damage against monsters doesn't get a bonus from Superiority (but brain morph does).

Even accounting for that, the explosion damage at the end of the BFG duration isn't doing as much as it should. It only seems to do about ~200 to monsters with 20 damage upgraded and 5 strength. The formula's supposed to be 100+15 so that would be 100+300=400, then x1.5 for 5 strength, so 600 damage on explosions, but when planted on an immobile tank it's only doing about 200, with the total shot (20 0 20) doing ~1100.

I tested unupgraded GL and it does 150 (5 str) to both corpses and monsters.

Also, BFG seems to do ~105 per frame, so 70 w/o strength, 20+2.5 per frame?

I dunno, something's weird though.

I thought those stats you gave on explosion only applied to the radius.

Not sure what you mean... From the changelog thread:
** Added a BFG explosion when a BFG ball expires. The damage is currently 100+15*(BFG damage level) and the radius is also 200+15*(BFG damage level).
100+15*(20) = 100+300 = 400. Then there's my 5 str to bring it to 600. It only does about 200 to a target right next to it when it explodes, and if superiority was working for guns it would do 1200.

So you really want a 1k damage explosion? Seems a bit too strong to me. But yea, I've tested in game and it only does 100 or so damage.

I've been saying 100+15 is way too much, I'm okay with how it is now, but just letting you guys know it's not what you said it was. :/

Seems like the 100+15 damage is unaffected by any damage modifiers... I dunno how that could work though Razz
